I build native iOS apps and the hard parts inside them: ARKit and RealityKit scenes, LiDAR scanning, on-device computer vision, Metal rendering, and C/C++ libraries wrapped for Swift. Clients have paid me over $300,000 on Upwork across 58 jobs and 8,200+ hours. The longest of them ran six years: a financial derivatives app, 733 hours, closed at 5.0. What I actually do on a project: - Take an existing codebase and extend it without breaking what works. One client put it this way: "he worked hard to understand the existing codebase and expand it." - Write tests first. I hold the Lead iOS Developer blue belt from Essential Developer Academy, where the whole curriculum is TDD, modular architecture and CI. The certificate is listed under Certifications below, with a link you can verify. - Ship. TestFlight, App Store review, entitlements, code signing - the boring parts that stall releases. Before iOS I spent fifteen years running server infrastructure and teaching it: Microsoft Certified Trainer, 30+ Microsoft certifications, head of IT for a bank and an insurance company. That is why I read a stack trace from a crashed device the same way I used to read a network trace, and why "it works on my machine" has never been an answer I accept. Based in Argentina, GMT-3. I overlap with US Eastern for most of the working day and with Europe in the mornings.
