I'm an experienced English language proofreader and copy-editor with a background in academic publishing and marketing. I'm a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) and provide various editorial services, undertaking anything from light editing and proofreading to partial re-writes. I've been freelancing for several years and love the variety of the work! I work on academic manuscripts, web content, corporate brochures, novels, non-fiction books, research papers and much, much more. I have a Social Sciences academic background so am particularly experienced in this area. Another of my specialties is editing work either translated from other languages or written by non-native speakers. I guarantee consistency, reliability and meticulous attention to detail. I will correct any spelling or grammatical errors and can improve the structure and syntax of your writing while maintaining the desired tone. Most of my work involves British, US, Canadian or Australian English, but I have written and edited content aimed at audiences in many countries.
