Tristan M.
Experienced full stack Web developer
Full-stack Web developer with an eye for detail, good communication skills, and a broad range of experience in multiple languages and technologies. I’ve delivered on projects for Yahoo, Volvo, Mazda, and Nikon to name a few. I have extensive experience in building responsive, accessible and performant HTML pages/templates, including the use of Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation for Sites (to which I was formerly a contributor) along with Sass, Less or just plain old CSS—though these days I would choose Tailwind and PostCSS for new projects. I have experience with Javascript in general and Node in particular, including static site generators and other related tooling (NPM, Yarn, Grunt, Gulp, Parcel and so on). I also have some experience with Vue, mainly for adding small individual components to conventional websites. On the back-end, my main focus is on PHP and related technologies, including Laravel, Drupal, WordPress, and Kirby CMS. I work with Git and BitBucket daily, use Git based deployment workflows with CI/CD tools wherever possible, and have a little experience using Ansible for provisioning and deployment. Though it’s rarely necessary these days, given the popularity of services like MailChimp, I can build and test HTML email templates either by hand or using tools/frameworks such as Zurb Foundation for Emails and MJML.
