Heidi W.

As a detail-oriented editor and writer with 30 years' experience in the journalism industry, I provide high-quality services for manuscripts, reports, and articles for a variety of venues. The Chicago Manual of Style, AP Stylebook, and Strunk and White's Elements of Style are my go-to literary handbooks. I believe that communication with my client is key to the success of producing stellar copy while keeping their own voice intact and keeping the reader hooked throughout. I understand that my role is to advise and "fix," but in the end, the product is their own. As a writer AND copyeditor, I understand both sides of the process; I believe that gives me unique understanding while I handle another's work.
