Saad K.
Agentic Platform Developer
I'm a software architect and backend engineer specializing in workflow automation, API integrations, and — more recently — governed agentic AI systems. My core strength is turning "it works" into "it's built right": I design the object models, execution strategies, and control-flow patterns, then direct AI coding agents to implement them at speed. Two open-source projects show this in practice: workflow-orchestrator — a standalone Django package for durable, task-based DAG workflow execution: checkpoint/resume on failure, Redis-backed deduplication, priority queuing, and rate-limit-aware retries. Apache-2.0 licensed, 97 passing tests. workflow-agent — a multi-agent platform where LLM agents plan and propose actions, but a separate governance engine enforces spending limits and escalates anything outside delegated authority to a human for approval. Supports OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini with provider-agnostic routing; 149 passing tests. I've spent 10+ years building ETL pipelines and integrations across Xero, Shopify, Amazon, and BigQuery, and I currently lead engineering as CTO at a SaaS integration company. If you need production-grade backend architecture, API integration work, or help building AI agents that operate safely within real business constraints, I'd be glad to talk through your project.
