My job consists of analyzing spatial data through mapping software, perform analysis on data sets stored in a GIS database, and designing digital maps with geographic data and various other data sets. Over the years my work experience consists of: -Analyzing spatial data through the use of mapping software. -Performing data munging and cleaning to convert data into its desired form. -Property research, regarding surroundings, county attractions, and traffics. -Geospatial analysis projects regarding address verification and drawing polygons. -Creating real estate mailing lists by extracting data from county sites to Excel. -GIS support to collect data for an online real estate auction sale. -Designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources. -Produce reports on geographic data utilizing data visualizations. -Using Google Earth to make visual identifications of locations with certain types of buildings, by zooming and scrolling through selected geographies to identify and record information. -Creating "shapefiles" to merge topographical data with external data by layering external data over a topographical map.
