An Electrical Design Engineer providing support on Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV) & Extra Low Voltage (ELV) distribution systems for Commercial & Residential buildings, Housing Colonies, Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants & Pumping Stations in accordance to local and international codes (BS, IEC, AS/NZS, NFPA, WAPDA, DEWA). Perform Power System calculations and design studies including but not limited to Load Calculations, Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Voltage Drop Calculations, Cable or Busway Capacity Calculations, Earthing and Lightning protection Studies. Perform equipment design and sizing calculation for Secondary Substation Transformers, Emergency (Standby) Diesel Generators, HV/LV switchgears, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), UPS/Solar Systems, MV/LV/ Instrumentation and Control Cables and their Trenching Details. Design of Building Management Services (BMS) of high rise buildings including but not limited to General & Emergency Power, Illumination, CCTV Systems, Access Control System, Fire Detection & Alarm System, Data Networking, Telecommunication, GPON, MATV/IPTV and Security systems. Create electrical drawings including Single Line diagrams, Electrical Schematics, Riser Diagrams, Grounding and Lightning Protection Drawings. Prepare Tender Documents including Bill of Quantities/Takeoffs, Cost Estimation and Technical Specifications.
