AI Agents & Automation (WhatsApp, Claude) | .NET & Next.js Architect

I build production systems that stay in production, not demos that stop working once the client walks away. For a US-based jewelry ERP vendor (retail and wholesale), I have spent 4+ years as the developer and solution architect responsible for their entire platform: modernizing a legacy Windows desktop application into a full web application, and building the integration layer that connects it to CRM and e-commerce systems. I designed and shipped an automation that turns a WhatsApp message into a completed sales order and invoice, with no manual re-entry. Track record on this one engagement: $100K+ billed, still active. My approach on every project is the same: understand the process, simplify it, then automate it. Automating a broken process just makes the mess move faster, so simplification always comes first. Recent builds using that approach: * Order intake with AI: purchase orders arriving by email as PDFs are classified, extracted into structured data, validated line by line against the ERP, and either created automatically or routed to a person. The first 100 live orders were checked by hand and extraction was 100% correct, with every AI action logged for audit. * WhatsApp lead qualification agent for a service business: a customer fills out a contact form, an AI agent messages them on WhatsApp to ask clarifying questions, researches the company in the background, scores the lead hot or cold with written reasoning, and notifies the BD manager. No human touches a lead until it is qualified. * Pharmaceutical packaging company: an order verification automation that removed manual, error-prone checks from the fulfillment process. Stack: C#, .NET Core, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework, WhatsApp Business API (Meta Cloud API and Twilio), OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, Firecrawl, Tavily, Make. Beyond client work, as Senior Product Manager at a SaaS platform I introduced AI across the full software development lifecycle for a team of 10 engineers, managers and product owners, cutting the discovery-to-alignment loop from 3 weeks to 5 days and reducing defect escapes by 25%. That sits on top of 20+ years across software engineering management, product management and hands-on development in banking, insurance and iGaming, backed by an MBA and a BS in Computer Science. I am trilingual (English, Arabic, Armenian) and comfortable working directly with stakeholders across the US, Europe and the Middle East. Available up to 30 hrs/week, hourly or fixed-price. My working hours (3pm to 12am Malta time) overlap both European and US business hours.
