I'm Jerry, a Mexican American raised in Los Angeles, California, USA, where I studied and completed my K-12 grade school. I have completed a 140-hour TEFL course for my certification. I have also achieved 2 bachelor degrees, one in Mathematics and another in Science in Information Technology. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, both spoken and written at a native level. I've always loved teaching, which is why I now have over 11 years of experience as a certified English teacher/tutor. Some of the online schools I've worked for include 51Talk, Open English Jr., VIP KID, Cambly, and Whales English. I'm very comfortable working with students of all age groups, teaching with TPR, using props, and teaching not only kids but adults as well. I have over 7 years of experience in the customer service field, which includes working for clients such as Comcast Corporation and Priceline.com, as an inbound customer service agent and customer relations specialist. Another client I've worked for is Service Corporation International for whom I worked as an outbound/inbound collections specialist and customer service agent as well. Besides working on the phone, I also gained experience in chat and email support working for Rocket Games Inc., an app and videogame company. Working with them I had to opportunity to work as a QA Tester, and have gained experience in testing BETA games on Android and iOS devices. I have 15+ years of experience working with digital pictures. I edit and manipulate digital photography (feel free to ask me for samples of my work). My software experience for this type of work is in Photoshop CS, CC, and Adobe Illustrator CC. I'm a very responsible, proactive, friendly, and hard-working individual.
