In addition to being a professional writer, I'm also a Montessori teacher and mother to three. Originally from Pennsylvania, I completed my university studies in International Development at the University of Guelph. As a part of my degree, I completed a year abroad in Costa Rica. In 2013, I completed training to become a certified lower elementary Montessori teacher through the North American Montessori Center. Most recently I worked as a Montessori teacher at a bilingual school in Antigua, Guatemala.
