Product UI/UX Designer | Mobile Apps | Web Apps | SaaS |Design Systems
I design mobile apps and SaaS products for startup founders and product teams, especially when workflows get complicated. I have over 8 years of experience, often as the first or only designer. About 80% of my clients come back to work with me again. TheFlow was a music and social app where I was the only designer for nearly two years. I led design across 15+ product areas, 40 flows, and 200 screens. I also built a mobile design system with 70+ reusable components and a three-level design token system. The app passed App Store review and launched as an invite-only beta. Speakeasy Live was an educational social app for live shows and podcasts. I joined as the first designer and led product design for iOS, Android, and Flutter web as the app expanded. The platform grew to over 30,000 registered users and 2 million iOS sessions. At Alpine Home Air, I redesigned an internal HVAC sales tool by turning a four-tab catalog into an eight-step flow. I used user research and listened to sales calls to guide the changes. Then I reviewed the new flows with sales consultants before development. I use AI in my design process whenever it helps me work faster or test ideas sooner. I rely on it to pull together research, brainstorm features, build prototypes, write specs, review designs, and help with implementation. At TheFlow, I set up a Figma MCP and Claude Code workflow, along with rules that engineers used in more than 18 flows. I start by learning the business goals and who will use the product. What does it need to do? Who is it for? What can developers actually build? I write down the problem as I see it, and we make sure everyone agrees before moving forward. Next, I map out the flows and states before designing any screens. I consider where users might end up, what they can do there, and what happens next. I build the design system as I go, so patterns stay consistent and don’t need rebuilding later. I share early versions with real users. If I see that something isn’t working, I speak up early and suggest a different approach instead of waiting until we’ve built the wrong thing. When it’s time to hand off, I give developers build-ready screens, specs, and clear guidelines right in Figma. “His ability to self-manage and keep our projects moving forward no matter my availability. You don’t need to have any worries once you have agreed on what needs to be delivered and when.” — Szymon Pelechowicz, Product Owner at Speakeasy Live Let me know what you’re working on or want to improve, and I’ll share how I would get started.
