Aleksey I.
Senior macOS & iOS Developer | Native Apps, Code I Stand Behind
I build native apps for Mac and iPhone. I've been doing it since 2010: 8,700+ hours here, 100% Job Success, and clients who keep coming back — one of them for more than three years. 🖥 WidgetWall is the work I'm proudest of. It's a Mac app that puts interactive widgets right on the desktop. I've been its main developer since 2021 and wrote most of its code. It ships in three versions from one codebase: Mac App Store, Setapp, and direct sales — with a cloud backend behind them. 🤝 How I work, honestly I write code myself, and I also write it with Claude. AI makes me faster, but it doesn't make decisions for me. I read every line before it goes into your project, test it on real devices, and if something breaks, it's my job to fix it — not the model's. You pay for software that works and a person who answers for it. I work best in writing: clear updates, short notes on what's done and what's next — so you always know where the project is. I can join a call when needed, but my spoken English has had less practice than my written. 🛠 What I do best • Mac apps: SwiftUI and AppKit, from the first window to notarization and the Mac App Store. • iPhone and iPad apps: SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Data, StoreKit. • The hard parts: threading, memory leaks, crashes that only happen on someone else's device. • Taking over an app someone else started — including apps built fast with AI that now need to really work. Send me a few lines about your app. I'll tell you how I'd approach it and roughly what it would take.
