⚡ "Shopify can't do that" almost always means "not without a custom app." Store credit that behaves like currency, warranties per item, prescription-gated catalogs, a million SKUs from six suppliers. I've built all four, and they're running today. If you believe that Shopify CANT do something - I will prove you the opposite. 💻 WHAT I BUILD 🧩 Custom and embedded Shopify apps Public and private apps, embedded admin screens, checkout and customer account extensions, webhooks and billing logic. Built to keep working as merchant volume grows. 🔌 Integrations and middleware Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs, ERPs, distributors, accounting systems, health records, Stripe, supplier feeds. When two systems hold the same data, I add a reconciliation layer so they never drift apart. ⚙️ Custom backends around Shopify Node.js, React, MongoDB, Laravel and Django, for the logic Shopify has no object for: credits, contracts, prescriptions, marketplaces, pricing rules, multi-supplier orders. 📦 Data migration and sync at scale Hundreds of thousands of products across APIs, FTP, feeds and scraping, cleaned up and deduplicated on the way in. 🏆 SELECTED PROJECTS 💎 Carousel Repair - a private app that lets jewelry brands sell a warranty with each piece. Customers file repair requests straight from their order history, and the request lands in the service centre's own system with the data already filled in. Handling time per request dropped 42%. Ten merchants use it today. 🎁 Ansandra - a gift registry where guests either buy a specific gift or put credit toward one. The credit is a real currency, not a discount code: it pools, transfers between registries and holds its value when prices move. It runs on a Laravel backend of its own, reconciled with Shopify continuously. Registries went from 153 to over 1,000 in eight months. 🩺 RVL Skincare - a concierge dermatology practice that sells care contracts rather than single visits. Consents, contracts and off-session Stripe charges sit outside Shopify for compliance reasons, while doctors assemble product routines patients buy in one click. Over 600 patients under contract. 👓 Goswick Eye - a private lens portal for a seven-location eye care practice. Patients only see what their prescription allows, order for family members from one account, and combine insurance credit, volume discounts and manufacturer rebates in a single checkout. 166 products, 16 manufacturers, 12,000+ records synced from the clinic's health records. 🚲 DASH Rides - the Django platform behind a UK Cycle to Work marketplace. 42 suppliers connect five different ways, and 61,000 of their products resolve into 28,000 listings, with duplicates merged automatically. 🚗 Menvaraosat - roughly a million auto parts from six suppliers in one Finnish store, searchable by VIN or by car model, with four sync apps behind it. All of it on a standard Shopify plan, because Plus was never in the budget. 🎯 HOW I WORK I start with the business logic and the data, not the ticket list. Expect straight answers about what Shopify handles natively, what belongs outside it, and what a feature will cost you to maintain later. The code gets written so the next developer can follow it. 💬 LET'S TALK Tell me the app idea or the process you're trying to automate. I'll tell you what's possible inside Shopify and what needs building around it.
