Hi, I'm Carolyn, a creative, detail-oriented, easy to work with, fine artist with over 20 years of experience. I have a fine art background in traditional art and design and a Masters in Narrative Painting. I specialize in symbolic and narrative portraiture, and figurative works and also love painting animals and any subject matter that includes story telling. I take great care in accuracy, creativity, concept, and design and am proficient in creating a three-dimensional illusion to more graphic pattern-oriented designs and sketches. I am fueled by conveying ideas with imagery and love to use symbolism to explore a narrative as well as layering various themes. When I am working on a project, I am 100% in, and often obsessive until the project is complete, so meeting deadlines is not a problem. Though I only used Upwork for a short time several years ago, I am excited to be back and hoping to lend you my services. There are many examples of fine art that I've created over the years, especially portraits in my portfolio. Please feel free to take a look! I am also a massive fan of the Golden Age of Illustration and am good at emulating various styles. I would love the chance to collaborate with you on: Portraiture Fine art paintings and drawings Film posters Book illustrations Cover Art (CD’s, Albums, Books) Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I look forward to hearing from you!
