April '23 WPO Tip about Reviews Google released an update to its 'Reviews System' on April 12th, 2023. The reviews system aims to better reward high-quality reviews, which are content that provides insightful analysis and original research and is written by experts or enthusiasts who know the topic well. Google rewards the in-depth research-reviews, rather than thin content that simply summarizes a bunch of products, services, or other things. According to the requirements, Google wants the website to have internal[!] and external[!] content-based[!] links with the rich in anchor[!] text. The links should consist of two to four keywords[!] and should be spread apart[!] from other nearby links.
