Lauren M.

Recording Artist, Creative & Editorial Writer/Editor

Welcome! I’m Lauren (although most people call me “Mala”). I’m a full-time recording artist, songwriter, and producer specializing in sync licensing, with credits including Netflix, CBS, and USA Network. In addition to my music career, I’m also a voice-over artist, freelance writer, and the Managing Editor of a luxury bridal publication, where I’ve honed my editorial skills for over 13 years. With a creative and editorial background spanning music, luxury fashion, beauty, health/fitness, travel, culture, cooking, social media marketing, and branding, I bring a unique and well-rounded perspective to every project. Beyond my professional work, I’m an avid reader and a proud member of the “bookish” community—I rekindled my passion for books last year and ended up reading 211 books in 2024! As I’m constantly reading for pleasure and have been a career editor for over a decade (in print and online), I’d love the opportunity to assist authors with proofreading or editing their manuscripts. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests. I look forward to collaborating with you!
