"Quit or be exceptional. Average is for losers." Hi, I'm Alex Vasenin, a Russian immigrant living in Mexico. I develop awesome mobile apps for early-stage startups based in the United States. Startups succeed by moving fast, and the only way to move fast is to have a small team. Big teams have too much drag, especially in software development. But how do you make a significant impact with a small team? You hire THE BEST members for your team. Two great developers could easily outpace a team of five average ones. That's where I come in. To be a true master, one has to concentrate on a particular area of expertise, so I'm focused solely on developing native apps for Apple platforms, primarily on iOS. I started my journey on this path in 2013 with Objective-C and UIKit, and now I work with Swift and SwiftUI. I do NOT do Android or cross-platform apps. I work remotely on a full-time, long-term basis. As a passionate A-player, I like to work with a team of engaged high-profile professionals. I value honesty, reliability, deep domain knowledge, lifelong learning, and hard work in my peers. My superpower is the ability to solve technical problems of great complexity. I LOVE programming and solving challenging problems. My goal is to surpass your expectations of what a developer can achieve. And I've been successful in this before (check the raving reviews from my past clients). I had the privilege to work with incredible teams, and we have achieved remarkable results. With Impekable, we won the title of the #1 mobile app development agency in the Bay Area. With NewNew, a startup from Los Angeles, we secured a very successful Series A round with Andreessen Horowitz and Founders Fund. Now, I'm ready to help you to take your startup to the next level. If you need a world-class iOS developer on your team - let's talk!
