Aleksandr K.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 15+ years of experience designing and delivering high-performance, scalable server-side applications. I specialize in PHP (Symfony), but I’m also adept at Golang, Python, and Java—choosing the best tool to solve the specific challenges at hand. My background includes architecting robust ETL pipelines, event-driven systems, and high-throughput APIs that streamline complex data flows, improve efficiency, and scale to handle thousands of requests per minute. I’ve successfully integrated third-party services, implemented automated infrastructure provisioning (Terraform, multi-cloud), and employed message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) for reliable, asynchronous processing. In addition to building new systems from scratch, I’ve modernized and refactored legacy applications—transforming outdated code into clean, maintainable, and testable solutions that boost overall performance. With extensive experience optimizing PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, I ensure that data is stored, retrieved, and processed efficiently. Throughout my career, I’ve led small engineering teams, defined best practices, and maintained rigorous testing strategies to achieve high code coverage and stable deployments. Whether you need a cutting-edge backend solution, a scalable microservices architecture, or guidance on infrastructure and performance optimization, I’m committed to delivering back-end engineering excellence that drives real business value.
