I am a chartered accountant (FCCA) with over 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting (internal, external, and statutory), forecasting/modeling, activity/project costing, ERP software setup, and managing projects at an accountancy firm, a construction company and a large commercial bank. Throughout my career, I have built a solid base of expertise in accounting principles/standards (IFRSs), internal controls, accounts payable, and data management. In addition, I consistently added extra value to my employers and clients through dashboards, automation and process redesign, which I enjoyed and rewarded myself. On financial projections and models, I have undertaken varied in complexity from simple SME business models to development/infrastructure projects to complex capital and liquidity projections of banks. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in the Microsoft Office package (Excel in particular with macro/VBA automation) as well as popular accounting packages such as QuickBooks and Xero. My career progress was complemented with projects of accounting setup, training, software implementation, and cost/financial modeling. They gave me the opportunity to work in project environments and work with a range of people around the globe. Examples span from cost modeling, auditing assignments, Temenos (ERP software for banks) implementation, Google G-Suite implementation, mergers of large commercial banks to government development projects. These projects enabled me to apply, enhance and prove my problem solving, multitasking, project management, and IT expertise and to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction, which led to the Service Excellence award (by a banking employer).
