Dimitre G.
AWS & Azure Cloud Architect | AI Infrastructure, Terraform, DevSecOps
I help mid-market SaaS and AI teams reduce cloud costs, prepare for SOC 2 and PCI DSS reviews, and scale workloads from fragile prototypes to reliable production on AWS and Azure. My focus is the layer between an application prototype and a production system: cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, security, observability, reliability, and cost control. Clients bring me in when infrastructure has become expensive or fragile, a production migration is approaching, SOC 2 or PCI DSS requirements are stalling larger customer deals, or an AI application needs a secure and maintainable production platform. Recent work includes migrating a retail platform from Rackspace to a hardened, PCI DSS-aligned AWS environment and building an Azure environment that supports SOC 2 readiness, with Cloudflare Zero Trust, network segmentation, automated backups, and disaster recovery. I also designed and built the infrastructure for VoisixAI, taking a cloud-based voice application into production on Azure with serverless APIs, authentication, communications integrations, and production infrastructure. What I typically help with: • Cloud Architecture & Migrations: Design AWS and Azure environments with practical migration, rollback, security, and operational plans. • AI & SaaS Production Infrastructure: Build the networking, deployment, security, observability, and cost-control layers required to move AI applications and LLM-powered services into reliable production. • Terraform & DevOps Automation: Replace manually managed infrastructure and deployment drift with reusable IaC and predictable CI/CD workflows. • Cloud Security & Compliance Readiness: Strengthen IAM, encryption, network segmentation, WAF, secrets management, logging, and technical controls supporting SOC 2 and PCI DSS assessments. • FinOps & Reliability: Identify unnecessary cloud spend, architectural bottlenecks, observability gaps, and recovery risks, then prioritize remediation by business impact. My primary consulting work is AWS and Azure, with additional experience across GCP, Cloudflare, container platforms, and Kubernetes. For clearly defined architecture reviews, security assessments, and cloud audits, I work on a fixed-price basis. For migrations, production troubleshooting, and implementation, I work hourly because the true scope becomes clear after assessing the environment. I work directly with technical leadership through architecture, implementation, and handoff. I document important decisions, automate infrastructure where practical, and leave the team with systems they can continue operating without depending on me. If you have a cloud environment, SaaS platform, or AI application that needs to be secured, stabilized, productionized, or optimized, send me a short overview of the infrastructure and the problem you are trying to solve.
