Timothy R.

I’m a UK-based app developer and technical lead with 15+ years’ experience working on apps downloaded by millions. I combine hands-on engineering, product judgment and AI-assisted development to turn ideas into polished apps. I’ve worked with teams around the world, as a sole developer and leading a team of over 20. I can take ownership of a new app, improve an existing product, or help your team make technical decisions and shape the user experience. More recently, I independently built and launched GlowUp, my own profitable app. That gave me firsthand experience of deciding what to build, getting it into customers’ hands, and making it commercially viable. I use AI development tools to accelerate delivery, while taking responsibility for the architecture, code quality and testing. My engineering experience helps me judge what’s ready to ship and what needs more work. My strongest technical background is in iOS. I have a computer science degree and have been developing mobile apps since 2009. I care about well-written software and interfaces that feel intuitive to use. Outside work, you’ll usually find me on a tennis court, on my bike, or reading a sci-fi novel.
