Diane W.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not interested in working with AI in any way, shape or form and will decline any interviews regarding AI-related work. About me I'm a freelance editor and proofreader working for up to eight different clients, including a well-established well-respected UK publisher of non-fiction. I've been with Upwork since it was two separate entities – Elance and o-desk. Regular work is negotiable. All pitches are tailored to suit the job posting. However, please check my *minimum* rates below before inviting me to pitch for your work. As the majority of my work on Upwork is protected by NDA, I am unable to provide samples. I am, however, prepared to provide a paid sample. Minimum rates My editing and proofreading rates *start* at $10 per 1,000 words rounded up. For this you get two Word files (one clean, one with tracked changes). For Google docs/sheets, add on 10%. Paid samples: $50 flat rate for up to 5,000 words. My *minimum* fee is $100, not negotiable. So the more you can send me at once, the better. This excludes samples. A 20% deposit is payable for all new contracts, not negotiable. I'm not taking on any new ghostwriting assignments.
