Vasyl B.

Are you seeking assistance across various stages of the software development life cycle? Whether it's defining requirements, designing prototypes, coding, testing, or deployment, I'm here to help. My name is Vasyl, and I bring over five years of experience as a Software Engineer, having navigated projects in both small startups and large tech enterprises. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which serves as a solid foundation for my work in the field. Returning to UpWork with a fresh set of skills in full-stack JavaScript and TypeScript development, I'm eager to collaborate on your projects. With nearly twenty 5-star reviews from satisfied UpWork clients, I demonstrate a steadfast commitment to delivering results that exceed expectations. In one of my recent projects, I significantly improved performance metrics by reducing page load times and enhancing the user interface and experience. This was achieved through the strategic refactoring of the front end from Laravel Blade and jQuery to Vue.js and BootstrapVue, alongside the implementation of innovative features with Vue.js. Furthermore, I've developed and continue to maintain a progressive web app (PWA) for managing client profiles. Utilizing Vue.js, Vuex, Vuetify, TypeScript, along with GitLab pipelines and AWS S3, this application mirrors the look and feel of native iOS or Android mobile apps, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms. Additionally, I've built and oversee an API using Node.js, Express.js, MySQL, Docker, and GitLab pipelines. This API serves as a robust data provider for third-party applications and websites, facilitating seamless integration with various platforms. In past roles, I've assumed leadership responsibilities, supervising the development of web applications and managing teams of developers. Moreover, I specialize in crafting specifications and wireframes using tools such as Balsamiq, Jira, Confluence, UML, and BPMN to streamline and automate organizational business processes. Whatever your project entails, I'm committed to finding the most efficient solutions to meet your needs. Let's connect and discuss how I can contribute to the success of your endeavors.
