Sergey Y.

I've spent 7+ years building and rescuing WordPress/WooCommerce sites — over $200K earned on Upwork alone, 84 completed jobs, Top Rated Plus, and client relationships that have lasted 5+ years. I build custom themes and plugins from scratch, migrate legacy sites, convert Figma/HTML designs into fully functional WordPress builds, and fix what previous developers left broken — including taking over and forking other developers' plugins. What I do: • Build custom WordPress themes and plugins, from scratch or by taking over/forking existing code • Convert Figma designs and static HTML into responsive, mobile-first WordPress/WooCommerce sites • Diagnose and fix theme/plugin bugs other developers couldn't solve • Integrate third-party tools — payments, CRMs, analytics, custom APIs • Optimize for performance, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility Tools: WordPress, WooCommerce, ACF, Elementor, PHP/MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5/CSS3/SCSS, Git, REST APIs Currently expanding into headless WordPress architecture (React/Next.js) and AI-integrated features, so I can build faster, more scalable front-ends on top of the WordPress backends clients already trust — while keeping the reliability that got me these long-term relationships. If you need a WordPress site built right the first time, or fixed by someone who won't need hand-holding, let's talk.
