Hi! I'm Gideon, Founder and Creative Director of Pugo, a branding and marketing design studio based in Cebu, Philippines. I have always been passionate about design since I was young, joining art classes during the summer, reading design and illustration books, and during college, I took up and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Advertising Arts, which was the perfect way for me to learn how to apply my love for design for businesses. I started my design career by joining logo design contests on a crowdsourcing site. I was awarded as top designer for April in 2013 and nominated as one of the top designers for the same year, with a Platinum Designer status, and over 150 design contests won. I've worked for a multinational company for four years as the head of the creative team where I learned how to manage a team of designers and handle multiple projects from different departments. I now run my studio along with four other highly experienced designers, helping business owners and marketing teams, design their logos, business cards, flyers, brochures, websites, and anything they need to help their business grow and gain an advantage over their competition. We provide our clients with fast, reliable, and high-quality designs, acting as their offshore design team, increasing their productivity while reducing the cost to run their business.
