I love interacting with brand-new writing and helping authors get that writing ready to go out into the world. I can edit your manuscript for clarity and correctness, index your nonfiction book, or format your book for print and digital publication. In every project I do, I aim to be as thorough as possible and to respect the author's voice and the content of the text. My qualifications include a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania, the professional certificate in editing from UC Berkeley Extension, and formal training in indexing. Previous clients include University Press of Mississippi, Purdue University Press, Flatpage, and Westchester Publishing Services. For editing, proofreading, and indexing, I mostly work with general-interest nonfiction and nonfiction in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, but I also enjoy working with many fiction genres, including thrillers and epic fantasy. I have typeset many types of books, from family histories to poetry collections to business books to murder mysteries. For each service I provide, I follow The Chicago Manual of Style.
