Structured outputs, retries, cost control, fallbacks - Retrieval over your own data, so the AI answers from your content and not the internet - Workflow automation: the manual steps your team repeats every day, handed to a system that does them - Rescuing AI prototypes. If you built something in Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Cursor and it demos well but breaks under real use, that is a job I take often 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗔𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗟 Most of them do not fail on the AI. They fail on everything around it: no structure in the output, no handling for the model getting it wrong, costs nobody modelled, no way to tell whether quality is improving or degrading, and an architecture that was never designed to have AI in it. I build the layer that makes the AI part survivable in production. 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗜 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 You bring the business problem. I come back with a plan: the options, what each one actually costs in complexity and money, and my recommendation. You decide. Then my team builds, you review at the business level, we iterate. You own the business requirements. I own the technical decisions. If I think your scope is unrealistic, I will tell you before we start, not three weeks in. That is most of the reason the rating record looks the way it does. You are not hiring a solo contractor with a queue. You are hiring the person who leads the team, and the team behind him. I am also not the cheapest rate on the page, and I work best with teams who know what problem they are solving. Plenty of people will tell you they do all of it. I would rather be honest about the line, because the work I do take, I take full responsibility for.
