Emma C.

TOP RATED+ Outstanding UK-based Website & Content Copywriter | Clear, Human, SEO-Friendly I am consistently in the top 3% of more than 18 million Upwork freelancers and the pieces I ghost write often gain more than 100,000 monthly views. Does your website say all the right things but still sound like it lacks personality? Is it a little over-polished, generic or unlike you? I'm a UK-based copywriter who can work with what you already have, making the language clearer, warmer and more natural without losing the detail that matters. Or I can write your website from scratch, articulating the key points so they stand out and capture your audience’s imagination. I write, edit, proof and refine website copy, articles, brochures, adverts, email campaigns and anything else you require across a wide range of sectors, from healthcare, finance, property and professional services to lifestyle, beauty, aesthetics and retail. That might mean bringing a human voice to AI-assisted copy, making a complex service easier to understand, or finding the right tone for different consumers or clients. I take time to understand who you are talking to and what they need to know, rather than treating every project in the same way after all, every business and client is different. I've written website copy for many companies, including Procter & Gamble, Bloomberg, Disney, Bridgman Furniture, Premier Doorhandles, Hunter & Gold, Marks & Spencer PLC an many more. I’ve also been published in Chemist & Druggist, Professional Adviser, Wedding Magazine, County Weddings and other publications. Earlier in my career I edited the Marks & Spencer homeware catalogue. I'm also comfortable working with SEO briefs and Surfer SEO, while keeping the copy readable for people first. I've worked on Upwork for over 12 years, completed 945+ jobs and hold Top Rated Plus status with a 100% Job Success Score. One client put it simply: "she always gets the tone spot on!" - J.B., Watford. Here are a few more: "I love the newsletter. Have I ever told you how great you are? In the event I haven't, you're GREAT!" F.C, Savannah “Emma was a pleasure to work with. She understood my project in great detail, and I never had to explain the concept once. She is well informed about many subjects and definitely has a talent for writing. Above all this, she was always kind and prompt with delivery; she follows through on all her commitments and leaves you feeling confident in her work. I definitely look forward to working with her on an ongoing basis as my business develops further. It felt like she was a part of my team.” S.J, Toronto. So, if you need a fresh website, a careful edit of existing pages, or content that sounds more like your business, tell me what you're working on and who it's for. I can also provide voice-over samples if the project needs them having recorded multiple podcasts for a variety of clients. While I can't post my website link, if you Google writeminded (.co.uk) you should find it!
