Martins H.

I'm Martins, a WordPress and WooCommerce developer with 12 years of experience. What I actually do is make inherited platforms safe to work on again: untangle custom code, bring plugins current without taking the site down, close security holes, kill the recurring errors nobody could pin down, and leave the thing maintainable by whoever comes next. WHERE I'M STRONGEST 1. Taking over existing complex sites Audit first, then stabilize, then modernize — in a sequence that doesn't break production. Legacy custom code, plugin conflicts, failed updates, security cleanup, admin workflow improvements. Usually multi-month, often ongoing. 2. Multi-vendor marketplaces (Dokan, WC Vendors) Commissions, payouts, vendor onboarding, subscriptions, custom vendor dashboards. I've built custom Dokan escrow fund release logic — money-handling work that you don't want a generalist touching. 3. Custom development & API integration Carriers and logistics (auto-generated Omniva shipping labels straight from WooCommerce orders), invoicing, e-signature, payment gateways, and custom features that don't exist as a plugin yet. 4. Performance & stability Speed and Core Web Vitals work, but as part of a healthy site rather than a one-off score chase. HOW I WORK I investigate before I estimate. I explain what I found in language you can act on, not a wall of jargon. I'll tell you when the honest answer is "a plugin already does this" or "this needs rebuilding, not patching" — even when the second option is smaller work for me. I work on staging, I stay reachable, and there are no silent weeks or surprise invoices. WHAT I'VE WORKED WITH Bedrock by Roots Plugins: Dokan, WC Vendors, WooCommerce Subscriptions, Sprout Invoices, ApproveMe eSignature, BuddyPress, BuddyBoss, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, WPML, Polylang, Yoast SEO, Cloudinary, Elementor, WPBakery, Visual Composer, SiteOrigin Page Builder, Slider Revolution, WP Job Manager, WP Event Manager, Project Panorama, Easy WP Booking and many more. Themes: Sage, Avada, Divi, Astra, Hello, Enfold, Jupiter, Salient, BeTheme, Woodmart, Flatsome, Shopkeeper, Martfury, Ultra X, Rocked, Wallcart and many more. If you've inherited a site that scares you a little — or you're running a marketplace that's outgrown what Dokan does out of the box — send me a message describing what it does and what keeps going wrong. I'll tell you what I think is actually happening before you spend anything.
