I am a senior FileMaker developer. I build, customise, and stabilise live business systems: CRM, job/workflow management, estimating and pricing, inventory, invoicing, and reporting. I work in Claris FileMaker 2026 (version 26) every day, and I also support and upgrade production systems on earlier versions. I am used to working inside existing files — including commercial and legacy databases — without breaking what already works. Typical work: new layouts and scripts, product/price tables, quote-to-job-to-invoice flows, data migration from older FileMaker files, WebDirect/iPad access, and careful deployment on production servers. FileMaker — 11 years FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server 2026, plus long-term work on 18–2024 systems. Relational design, modular scripts, privilege sets, audit logging, performance tuning, and refactoring of inherited solutions. Development, staging, and production are kept separate, with backups and rollback in mind. Background 13+ years in databases (FileMaker, MySQL, SQL Server). Windows, Windows Server, and macOS. Based in Slovakia (CET), available for overlap with UK and EU hours. How I work Backup first. Changes on a copy, then tested on FileMaker Pro and WebDirect before production. Short written notes after each block of work. Written English is my working language. I join scheduled UK/EU-hours calls; detailed follow-up stays in writing.
