Hello! I'm a Licensed Architect and Certified Specification Writer in New York State with over 30 years of experience and a focus on environmentally sustainable design. I am also a LEED-Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) with two specialties, in Building Design & Construction and Homes. During the pandemic, I became WELL and Living Future accredited and also graduated from The Regenerative Practitioner program through the Regenesis Institute. My firm, Design Synergies Architecture P.C., is a design & consulting business that works with clients who are embarking on sustainably designed or LEED projects. We develop sustainability strategies for their projects and help to implement those strategies from the beginning of design. I have worked in the television industry as a scriptwriter and researcher for a green renovation TV series. As a freelance writer, I've contributed to "Buffalo Spree" magazine and the "New York Real Estate Journal", and other publications. Most of my technical writing work has been focused on LEED, sustainable design, green products, and specifications.
