A.JAMAL .

I'm Jamal, a Ruby on Rails consultant with 15+ years of experience building and scaling web applications. I specialise in Rails upgrades, SaaS product development, and integrating AI into existing Rails apps. What I help with: - Building custom Ruby on Rails applications and SaaS products using Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus for reactive, modern UIs without heavy JavaScript - Upgrading legacy Rails apps (Rails 5/6/7 → Rails 8) - API design, third-party integrations, and Stripe billing - Performance optimisation and production infrastructure (DigitalOcean, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Action Cable) - Adding AI and RAG-based features to Rails backends I run ICE Labs (icelabs.net), a Rails consultancy based in India. My clients are typically SaaS founders and CTOs who need a senior Rails engineer who can work independently, communicate clearly, and deliver production-ready code. If you have a Rails codebase that needs modernising or a SaaS idea that needs building — let's talk.
