I'm just as comfortable telling entertaining stories in a blog post as I am writing two-word error messages in an app. I take the time to understand complex and technical subject matter, and I can also grasp the human side of entrepreneurship. The way I connect with people is the reason why I can write in such a wide range of different environments, and why I have had such a varied career that has moved through journalism, PR, property investment, UX writing and website copy. Despite being born with an artistic writing style, the many different corporate environments I have found myself in (including the management of a department) have shown me that managing a client and delivering on a brief on their terms is infinitely more rewarding than just churning out clever words.
