Guillermo O.

I'm a Venezuelan Software Engineer living in Panama. My specialty is web development with Asp.Net MVC (from 2 to 5), using JS libraries such as JQuery, Knockout.Js and with a high knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3. This is what I've been doing for more than six years and I really love the technology. I had the opportunity to give courses about it and it was great, once you really understand something, explaining it should be simple. My other specialty is mobile software; I've almost four years doing it in both iOS and Android. As a side project I design and develop an Android App called Cadivi Tracker which has 35k downloads on Google Play. I've attended twice to the IT/Dev Connections, is an annual Microsoft software development convention that takes place in the West side of US, where developers from all around the world gather to discuss new technologies and trends, and assists to workshops. And finally has a good coder, nothing is beyond my research scope; if I've a new tech to work with I'll do my research and learn about it. Since May 2017, I’ve been working as a full time freelancer using the platform Upwork to find clients and projects, and as a side personal project I’m founding my own software consulting company with a few colleagues, called Roraima Labs, we already have a few products in mind and two of them are in developing stage. I had the opportunity to participate at my Alma mater (Universidad Catolica Andres Bello - Caracas) as teacher and teacher assistant in two software related courses for three semesters. Finally has a good coder, nothing is beyond my research scope; if I've a new tech to work with I'll do my research and learn about it. These are my tech skills: Web Development  Asp.Net MVC (2 to 6) on C#.  HTML5, CCS and Razor.  Twitter Bootstrap.  JQuery, Knockout.JS, Angular. Mobile Development  Android Native, Java.  Xamarin for Android and iOS. Backend and Web Services  Entity Framework, SQL Server.  WCF, Rest Services, SOAP.  Amazon Web Services and S3.  Windows Azure Mobile. Other  AppHarbor, GoDaddy Servers.  Wordpress.  Oracle, MySQL. Taking aside the professional stuff, as I said I'm Venezuelan, 90' kid, gamer and I play rugby in my local team. So if you really need a great developer, a good researcher, an entrepreneur and a fun guy who can teach you how to tackle down guy who is 5 times your weight, you got it.
