Senior .NET Backend Engineer & Architect | Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS
Senior .NET backend engineer and architect with 15+ years of experience. I build distributed, event-driven and real-time backends — and I own them in production. Most recently I owned the entire backend platform of a real-money, skill-based mobile game (Artes Studio, 2023–2026): 20+ .NET microservices on Kubernetes (AWS, Terraform), Apache Kafka event streaming, MS SQL and Redis. I designed and built the core from scratch — in-game economy engine, real-time matchmaking, transaction processing and fraud prevention — in a domain where ledger correctness and abuse resistance are hard requirements, not features. I also integrated the game into a third-party gaming aggregator's platform, where the wallet lived on the other side and correctness lived on the wire: idempotent operations, status queries after timeouts, reconciliation. Before that: backend for Board Kings (200,000+ DAU) and Pirate Kings (100,000+ DAU) at Playtika, and a full infrastructure migration to Kubernetes with CI/CD as tech lead at Fotando Global. I also ship my own products end to end as the only engineer: • GlassLine — a voice-following teleprompter (Flutter + Firebase), live on Google Play since September 2026 in 15 languages. • Truth or Never — a Unity / C# party game on iOS, Android and WebGL with real-time multiplayer on a Nakama server. What I can help you with: • Backend architecture for a new or growing product — design, review, or a second opinion before you commit • .NET / ASP.NET Core microservices, APIs and background processing • Event-driven systems on Kafka; breaking up a monolith without a big-bang rewrite • Payments, wallets, ledgers — anything where the money has to add up • Game backends: economy, matchmaking, real-time multiplayer, live ops • Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD — getting a system into production and keeping it there • Firebase backends (Cloud Functions, Firestore) for mobile apps How I work: AI-assisted development is my daily workflow — Claude Code with my own guardrails, subagents and tool integrations — so delivery is fast without skipping tests or reviews. I write things down (design docs, HLDs, incident RCAs), communicate in clear English, and work from Warsaw (CET) with a full overlap with Europe and the US morning.
