Jaime S.
Endpoint Security & IT Infrastructure | CSP I CSS EFA I CEH
I help businesses investigate security issues, assess vulnerabilities, strengthen Windows endpoints and web-server configurations, and automate technical tasks. My background combines enterprise IT operations in Swiss banking with nearly a year of focused cybersecurity study, practical labs and independent investigations. I bring established operational experience alongside practical security assessment and forensic skills. MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND At Schroder & Co Bank AG, I supported more than 400 users across local and international offices. My responsibilities included Intune and MobileIron device management, Defender for Endpoint controls, Windows deployment, Active Directory access administration and complex technical troubleshooting. I developed PowerShell automation for certificates and provisioning and supported workplace migrations. Previously, I worked in IT operations at Microsoft Switzerland and technical support at International School Basel. WHAT I CAN HELP WITH NOW • Vulnerability assessment: network discovery and scanning, Nessus findings review, CVE/CVSS assessment, remediation prioritisation and clear technical or management reports. • Web application and server security: scoped web security reviews, access-control and injection checks, Content Security Policy analysis, Apache configuration assessment and hardening verification. • Email and phishing investigation: headers, routing, timestamps, MIME and attachments; SPF/DKIM/DMARC interpretation; forwarding indicators and documented findings. • Log analysis and incident reconstruction: filtering noise, correlating multiple sources, reconstructing timelines and distinguishing confirmed observations from assumptions and evidence gaps. • Windows and memory forensics: KAPE and Eric Zimmerman tools, Volatility memory-image analysis, process and network artefacts, relevant memory-region extraction and evidence-integrity checks. • Network and TLS analysis: PCAP investigation with Wireshark/TShark, certificate-chain and handshake review, and traffic decryption when suitable session keys are available. • Security monitoring: Wazuh setup, endpoint onboarding, alert review, file integrity monitoring and CIS configuration assessment. • Data privacy and IoT assessment: SQL masking/anonymisation exercises, re-identification risk analysis, device exposure review and MQTT traffic investigation within an agreed scope. MICROSOFT INFRASTRUCTURE AND AUTOMATION I also support Intune enrolment and compliance, Defender for Endpoint controls, Windows deployment with Autopilot/SCCM, AD access administration and PowerShell automation. PowerShell is my strongest production scripting language. My Python coursework and portfolio projects include log enrichment, SBOM vulnerability lookups, DNS review and forensic helper scripts. I have also configured LLM-agent workflows for cybersecurity exam preparation, checking outputs against source material and technical evidence. MY CURRENT DEVELOPMENT Since leaving my banking role in December 2025, I have focused on cybersecurity training, practical projects, investigation playbooks and examination preparation. I expect to complete the Swiss Cyber Security Specialist federal professional qualification, with the Professional Bachelor title, in November 2026. My assessment and forensic portfolio comes from practical coursework, labs and independent projects. My commercial background is in enterprise IT operations, endpoint controls and automation. I explain this distinction clearly so we can agree on work suited to your needs and my capabilities. HOW I WORK I use structured playbooks, document evidence and provide practical recommendations. We agree on the systems, scope and deliverables before work begins. English and Spanish are my strongest languages. My German is intermediate and improving. Send me your technical problem or project scope, and we can discuss how I can help.
