Michael D.

Now Offering Crime/Mystery Ghostwriting I’m Michael, a published crime fiction author, developmental editor, and story structure expert who helps clients turn raw ideas into compelling, well-structured fiction. I now offer crime fiction and mystery ghostwriting, with a process designed to help clients move from concept to finished manuscript with clarity and confidence. I can work from your existing idea, build from your notes, or develop a story concept based on your direction. From there, I create a detailed novel outline or short story outline for your review and approval before moving into the drafting stage. Once the outline is approved, I write a clean rough draft that is organized, readable, and ready for the editing process. My specialties include: ✔ Crime Fiction Ghostwriting ✔ Mystery Ghostwriting ✔ Historical Crime and Mystery Short Stories ✔ Detailed Novel and Short Story Outlining ✔ Developmental Editing ✔ Story Structure and Plot Development For over a decade, I’ve taught writers how to build stories that work. Since 2012, I’ve created 14 online writing courses with more than 49,500 students enrolled and over 1,200 reviews averaging 4.3 out of 5 stars. My background in storytelling, structure, pacing, and character development allows me to create fiction that is both engaging and structurally sound. What working with me looks like: You bring the idea, notes, concept, or even just the premise I develop the story into a detailed outline for your approval After approval, I write a clean rough draft You receive a strong manuscript foundation ready for an editor I specialize in stories that need tension, strong reveals, layered suspects, believable characters, and satisfying endings. If you’re looking for a writer who understands crime fiction, mystery structure, and investigative storytelling, I’d love to discuss your project.
