Senior Full-Stack Developer | Fix & Migrate | React, Next.js, Node.js

I fix and migrate web projects that are late, unstable, or inherited from a team that walked away. Full-stack, 14 years in production, mostly React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript. A crisis-management platform owned by a Big Four firm. I came in through the contractor that built the MVP, stabilized it in about 30 days ahead of an investor demo, and stayed on the program for 6 years on the front-end team. It runs in production today, with 24+ enterprise clients and close to 300 tools on it. An enterprise automotive marketplace, 6 months from launch after 10 months of development had produced 30,000-line files, unreviewed AI-generated code, no CI, and a single-page app search engines could not index. In 4 months my team and I rebuilt the front end on Next.js for SSR and SEO, put engineering governance around the AI-generated code with automated review, integrated the finance and insurance APIs, and handed it over at ~93% of its acceptance criteria, accepted at the client demo. WHAT USUALLY NEEDS FIXING - A prototype built in Lovable, Replit or Bolt that demos well and falls over in production - AI-generated code nobody reviewed, and the logic drift that comes with it - A codebase the original developer left behind, with no documentation and no tests - SPA-only architecture with no SSR, so none of the content gets indexed - No CI, no review process, and a deadline that has already slipped once WHAT I WORK WITH Front end: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, TanStack Query, Tailwind, Material-UI Back end: Node.js, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis Real time and search: SignalR, SSE, Typesense, vector search Legacy and inherited stacks: WordPress, PHP, Yii, Symfony Delivery: Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS, Cloudflare HOW I WORK I work inside a four-engineer team with a dedicated operations manager, so scheduling and reporting never eat into engineering time. We have been doing takeovers together long enough to have a name for it: between ourselves we are the anti-crisis squad. The first thing I do on a takeover is read the code and tell you what is actually salvageable. Send me repository access and the deadline you are working to, and you get that assessment before you commit to anything.
