Michaela V.

I am a translator, specializing in English-Czech translations. Being a native Czech speaker, living in England, and having studied Journalism and English Philology at university, I have an excellent command of both languages. I have been working in this field for nearly 14 years now and I have experience in translating texts from a wide variety of subjects; my previous projects include: • films and TV shows, translating the scripts and editing the translation for dubbing or subtitles, • novels, • translating and editing articles on different topics for various online and paper magazines, • websites (company websites, online stores, quiz, gaming, and entertainment websites), • applications and platforms, • user agreements and policies, • business and marketing documents and correspondence, • educational materials, and others. I am reliable and conscientious, ensuring all my work is towards the highest standards and I am always looking for new challenges.
