I'm Alex, creative director and founder of The Basement Studios. We make recipe videos, product videos, and food photography for brands and the agencies that serve them. We also take on branded video, editing, motion graphics, and animation, including work for federal clients through partner production companies. Most clients come to us with a product or a goal and a rough idea. We come back with the concept, the location, the talent, the script, the shoot, and finished assets ready to use. You review the work. You don't have to art direct it. That's the actual value. One client sent us a box of product with no brief, and we built the entire scene around it. Another has been running the same video on Amazon for six years. We work best with clients who need content on an ongoing basis rather than once. One shoot day can produce a month or a season of content. Our studio kitchen, 4K cameras, lighting, and prop collection mean we handle production end-to-end, and our team includes dedicated editors and shooters so volume isn't a problem.
