SAP BTP Architect | Joule, MCP & Agentic AI on SAP
I design and deliver cloud-native architectures on SAP Business Technology Platform for enterprise clients across Europe and the Middle East — from initial strategy through hands-on implementation. Most recently I've specialised in applied AI on SAP: deploying SAP Joule via Joule Studio with IAS-based authentication, building MCP server architectures on SAP Integration Suite's MCP Gateway for agent tooling and context grounding, and working with business and technical stakeholders to identify and ship production-ready agentic AI use cases inside enterprise SAP workflows. This is new ground for most SAP landscapes — I have already delivered it in one. My background started in CAP development (Node.js, Java, CDS), which means I architect with a builder's eye: I know where abstractions break down, where governance gaps create cost, and where the pragmatic choice beats the textbook one. That foundation has expanded into full-stack BTP ownership: Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, HANA Cloud, IAS/IPS identity governance, subaccount strategy, and IaC-driven provisioning with Terraform and BTP CLI. I work at the intersection of technical depth and stakeholder communication — translating business requirements into clean-core-aligned architectures, and translating technical trade-offs into decisions leadership can act on. In March 2026 I spoke at SBN IT Architect Day on exactly this: when BTP is the right architectural backbone, and when it isn't. Recent engagements include a large-scale CAP/Flutter delivery for a major Nordic retailer, an SAP PO → Integration Suite migration for a KSA enterprise, and BTP extension development for Siemens Energy. Based in Lisbon, Portugal. Available for US, European and Gulf business hours.
