Ecommerce Conversion Optimization | UX/UI Designer & CRO Strategist

I’m a UX & CRO Strategist focused on creating and improving e-commerce websites. When it comes to improving CRO and UX, the research process is crucial. Imagine you're a detective trying to solve a mystery. You don't rely on just one clue, right? That's where mixed methods come into play to improve CRO. It's like having a toolkit with different tools for different tasks. First up, you've got quantitative methods. Think of these as your numbers and statistics. They give you a big-picture view of what's happening. So, you might use tools like Google Analytics or Heatmaps to see where people are clicking and how they're moving through your website. It's like looking at footprints to figure out where people are going. Then, there are qualitative methods. These are like talking directly to people. You might use surveys, interviews, or user testing to get insights into what users think and feel. It's like having a conversation with someone to understand their perspective. Now, here's where the magic happens: you combine these methods! By mixing quantitative and qualitative approaches, you get a more complete picture. It's like putting together pieces of a puzzle. You can see the big picture with the numbers and understand the human side of things with qualitative insights. So, if you aim to boost your CRO, you don't want to rely on one single method, as it could be biased. Using a mix of quantitative and qualitative techniques allows you to understand your audience better and improve your website's performance. It's like being both Sherlock Holmes and gathering clues and insights to create a better visitor experience and, of course, raise conversion and revenue, which is always the main goal in the end. After the research phase you have all the necessary clues to develop good Hypothesis for the problems you observe and turn them into solutions; after designing solutions, it's now time to assess their validity, and the best way to do it is by A/B testing. This way whatever the result comes positive or negative, you really can make data-driven decisions. UX and CRO are ongoing processes that require planning and lining up resources. Sometimes, you get good results with one shot, but the reality is that, more often than not, you need to iterate several times to get good results. Want to know more about the process? Send me a message to know more. I'm barely scratching the surface of the CRO and UX methodologies in this overview, and every business has its own nuances and unique goals. Have a great day!
