I help brands and product teams turn existing illustrations, characters, patterns, and brand assets into sock designs that work in knitted production; especially when socks are not their primary product category. Artwork that looks excellent on screen does not automatically translate well to a small knitted surface. Motifs may need to be enlarged, simplified, separated, recoloured, or reorganized to remain clear on a 144-needle machine. Fine details can disappear, excessive colours may be unavailable, and technically accurate conversion alone can still produce a disappointing sock. I adapt the artwork while preserving its visual identity. Their available yarns, machinery, templates, and construction methods determine how the final artwork should be prepared. I have 20 years of professional graphic-design experience, a degree in fashion design, extensive Upwork experience, and several years of focused work on sock and textile products. I am particularly well suited to established brands adding socks to an existing product line and product managers who need category-specific design support.
