New builds, half-finished app? Last developer gone quiet? Prototype that falls over once real customers start using it? That's the work I do. I'm a full-stack developer who takes over projects someone else started and gets them running properly. I start by reading the code and telling you in plain English what's broken, what's risky and what it'll cost to fix. Then I fix things in the order that matters to your business, and you see progress along the way, not just at the end. A few things I've built and fixed. - Festival Currency, a cashless payments platform that processed over $30M at live events, running on RFID wristbands and patchy festival Wi-Fi - A national receipt-based prize competition for a major film franchise - A sports competition platform I took over, refactored and relaunched on AWS - An event ticketing platform in Laravel with Stripe Connect - HubSpot, ServiceM8 and Xero integrations for trade businesses, so jobs, invoices and payments sync without re-typing - AI-built apps from Base44, Lovable and similar tools, finished and made ready for real users I also ran a technology retail store for nearly 30 years, with 40+ staff and tens of thousands of customers. So I think about how your staff and customers will actually use what I build. I've been the client too, paying developers and waiting days for a reply. I don't do that to people. I mostly work in Laravel, PHP, Filament, React, Next.js and Supabase, with Stripe for payments. Flutter and Android when a project needs them. Tell me what's going wrong and I'll tell you straight whether I can help and what I'd do first.
