Brian W.

I am a senior WordPress engineer specializing in stabilizing, optimizing, and securing complex, high-traffic production environments. I step in when websites are already live, already complicated, and generating revenue—and I ensure they stay that way. I don’t just build features; I solve structural debt. I thrive in high-pressure scenarios where downtime or data loss is not an option. Whether it's a fragmented build left by previous developers or a failing API integration, I diagnose the root cause and implement enterprise-grade solutions. My Core Focus Includes: API & Integration Engineering: Custom REST API development, third-party service syncing, and troubleshooting complex middleware. Infrastructure & Backend Architecture: Database optimization, server-level caching strategies, and cleaning up legacy codebases. Performance Engineering: Drastic improvements to Core Web Vitals and backend execution speed for high-traffic sites. Security & Loss Prevention: Hardening environments against carding attacks, bot traffic, and advanced malware remediation. Mission-Critical Support: Managing complex ecosystems involving membership systems, LMS, and high-volume e-commerce. Many of my clients come to me after a "standard" fix has failed. I provide the technical oversight needed to make systems stable, secure, and scalable. Reliable. Accountable. Clear communication for stakeholders.
