Welcome to my profile page. I'm forward-looking web developer with 10+ years of work experience in web development and 8 years i worked with Shopify. Last years I spend more time on e commerce projects which based on Shopify platform. This ensures I know Shopify inside and out, including many tricks and workarounds for possible design quirks. I have obtained deep knowledge in the following basic skills in web development: - HTML5, Liquid templating engine; - CSS 3, SCSS, responsive design; - JavaScript & jQuery; - React & pReact(simple version used in Shopify) - Node.js & Express.js; - MongoDB & SQL; - REST API & GraphQL; - Git version control; And special Shopify functionality: - Setup store, migration from another platform; - Installing, setting up, and modifying (where available) apps; - Theme customisation to match design; - Custom functionality to admin panel; - Developing custom apps; - Shopify Checkout UI Extensions and Functions; Load speed optimisation service for Shopify stores: - Assets delivery optimisation (scripts, styles, images); - Image compressing. Cleaning up legacy/redundant code; - Minification and concatenation of theme files; - Splitting the page content into two batches - one that user will see immediately on landing and the other, which is going to load on demand; - Checking for any redundant apps (some of them could be replaced with native coding). Usually it takes near 5 hours and has significantly result. I don't working with each project. Before to accept a new job, I must to learn all details to be sure that everything is clear, will be possible to do project in the best way and finalize it with success.
