Sarunas N.

I'm a Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience building scalable SaaS platforms, high-performance backend systems, and modern web applications. I specialize in designing clean, maintainable architectures that scale - from REST APIs and payment systems to AI-powered workflows and media processing pipelines. My focus is on building reliable software through thoughtful system design, performance optimization, and modern engineering practices. I enjoy solving complex backend challenges involving distributed systems, asynchronous processing, queues, caching, event-driven architectures, and third-party integrations. Core Skills ✓ Backend PHP, Laravel, Node.js ✓ Frontend Vue.js, React ✓ Architecture Scalable APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, background jobs, queues, caching, system design ✓ Databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase ✓ Cloud & Infrastructure AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Docker, Redis, Nginx, Apache, GitHub Actions, CI/CD ✓ AI Engineering OpenAI, Claude Code, MCPs, AI agents, workflow automation, LLM integrations ✓ Testing Pest, PHPUnit ✓ Integrations Stripe, PayPal, Xendit, REST APIs, Webhooks, OAuth, Chrome Extensions, third-party APIs I enjoy working on backend-heavy products where performance, scalability, and maintainability are critical. Whether designing APIs, optimizing large-scale data flows, integrating AI capabilities, or building resilient cloud infrastructure, I strive to deliver software that is both elegant and built to last.
