Amber C.

Hello! My name is Amber Icenhour Calderon. I have been an illustrator and designer for 12 years. My strengths lie in children's book illustration, logo design, book layout, and cartooning. In my senior year of high school, I won 2nd place in the Art Institutes National Poster contest, where I won a $2.000 scholarship. Prior to beginning my career as a freelancer, I earned my bachelors degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta. My time learning at the Art Institutes jump started my passion and drive to start my own business and identity as Insane Angel Art. Currently as a children's book illustrator, I have illustrated six currently-published books including Joey's BIG Imagination, The Adventures of Jam and Jelly, Scarecrows on Main, and many more. Since then, I've built up my business and personal art style to bring my own creations to more people. As a freelancer, I love meeting new people and seeing their visions come to life through my art! Working with so many different clients and watch my art positively influence others.
