Katie H.

I’m a Chicago/Midwest Emmy-nominated creative specializing in healthcare with 10+ years of experience in storytelling that grabs attention. With over 17 million organic video views (and counting!), I’ve helped every brand and creator I've worked with achieve trending videos with hundreds of thousands of views. I come from a non-traditional background -- I was a working actor and playwright before selling out and going corporate. Now I help brands become people through creative that trends on the For You page and drives conversions. I’m an expert at creating strategic, thumb-stopping content for new media. I’m good at getting people to do things — go see live theatre on a sub-zero Chicago weeknight, vote for their favorite doctor, or make a movie together in a single weekend. My work has been featured in the Washington Post, off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC, and (my personal favorite) earning millions of views on the For You page on TikTok. I'm not a traditional art or copy creative -- because I came up through video and live entertainment, I do both (and smile the whole time). I also direct commercials and short films, and mentor women and non-binary filmmakers. Clients include Claire's, Lincoln Park Zoo, The Second City, and many more!
