I am also a veteran, a retired Army Green Beret who spent nearly 27 years on active duty, which included four combat tours in Afghanistan and service in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. In my final military assignment, I served in the White House as a Director for Counterterrorism on the National Security Council. I have a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, an MBA from Webster's University, a Master in Military Arts and Science degree from the School for Advanced Military Studies, and a Master of Science Degree in Resource Strategy from National Defense University.
